Kevin Shaw
Kevin has been grading for 25 years, and goes home to England. He works all over the world grading feature films, commercials and TV shows. Some of the skills Kevin offers are colorist, instructor, demonstrator, presenter, writer, and consultant for suite design or project development. He has been an instructor for over 15 years and in 1998 created the da Vinci Academy.
He completed a BA (Hons) degree in Photography Film and Television in 1984, worked as a photographer for a year, before becoming a fulltime colorist in London,Italy and Switzerland. He has been offering training classes since 1991, and joined da Vinci as their first Director of Training in 1998. In 2004 Kevin returned to working as a freelance colorist and has concentrated on software grading systems, He continues to teach. and write.
Today his favorite system is a Digital Vision Film Master, but the da Vinci 2k Plus is hard to forget.
