Jeff Olm

Jeff began his career in 1986 at The Post Group as an visual effects assistant editor on "Star Trek .The Next Generation". Jeff has since held key roles in film projects including Titanic, Fifth Element, Seabiscuit, Spiderman, Castaway, Armageddon, Black Hawk Down and Harry Potter in senior visual effects compositing and color grading positions.

With over 65 feature film credits and a multitude of television and commercial credits, Jeff has gained extensive experience working the high end systems including Lustre, Scratch, Baselight, Speed Grade, Shake, Nuke, Smoke, Flame, and Inferno.

In 2003 Jeff was hired by Autodesk to launch the Lustre product in the US at NAB and IBC Europe. He pioneered on-set color correction and look development with location based digital pipelines utilizing the Technicolor Creative Bridge Mobile Digital Lab and Theater. He has consulted on data based work flows and trained colorists for Technicolor, Sony, Red Car and Ascent Media. Jeff's history includes senior colorist and artists positions with Sony Pictures Imageworks, Dreamworks Animation, Disney Feature Animation, Asylum, Cinesite, CIS and Discreet (Autodesk).

Jeff has recently contributed to the look development, stereo post-production workflow, and DI color correction for all distribution formats for the following titles. "Journey to The Center of the Earth 3D", "Monsters vs. Aliens", and is currently working on "How to Train Your Dragon", "Shrek Forever After", and "Megamind" all stereoscopic features coming out in 2010.
