iColorist, the International Colorist Academy, exists to preserve and pass on decades of hard-earned industry knowledge, and share the innovations of today and tomorrow.

Color grading is an evolving and disparate discipline. We are still a rare breed, and with so few of us so far apart, colorists build up a wealth of knowledge over the course of their working lives – only for it to be lost when they retire.

We were the first colorist academy, formed in 2009 to help colorists across the world advance the craft – building on the pioneering work that’s already been done, instead of starting from scratch.
