RG301: Looks and Matching Masterclass
In this class, you will learn how to create the traditional “looks” from movies, commercials, and music videos. We will then focus on matching those looks from shot to shot, and on how to apply a look across the whole scene. We will work with different sequences and learn specialized techniques to get the best from each timeline.
The class also addresses how to deal with the different challenges presented by a variety of example sequences. Students get the chance to do the same in a timed situation. Review, class discussion, and feedback is a major part of this class. It will simulate what a real grading project with clients is like. We also encourage students to provide their own footage to work on and share with the class.
You will learn:
Using plugins and Resolve presets
Why use a fixed node structure
